Tun shells (Tonna species) are known for having some of the thinnest shells relative to their size among large marine snails.

Despite their delicate appearance, they grow very large and use their size and rounded shape as a defense. In life, Tun snails are active predators, feeding mainly on sea cucumbers and marine invertebrates.
