Damaged in Transit: If your shell is damaged during its journey, please contact me within 24 hours of receipt with a photo. I will immediately send a replacement or issue a full refund.

The entire family of cockles is named for its shape! The scientific family name, Cardiidae, comes from the Greek word kardia, which means “heart.”
Because of their natural, perfect heart shape, these shells are often called “sea hearts” and are considered a natural token of love and affection, a valentine from the ocean itself.
